APPARATUS FOR POLISHING OR TESTING GEARWHEELS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine configuration robust enough for measuring, scrutinizing (testing), and lapping a gearwheel pair.SOLUTION: The apparatus according to the present invention is for polishing or testing gearwheels, comprising: a first spindle group which holds a first gearwheel, and to which the first gearwheel is mountable so as to be allowed to rotate about a first rotary shaft; a second spindle group which holds a second gearwheel, and o which the second gearwheel is mountable so as to be allowed to rotate about a second rotary shaft; and a first translation shaft which allows first translation of the first spindle group containing the first gearwheel relative to the second spindle group containing the second gearwheel.
