PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet feeder capable of reducing work burden by a worker and reliably feeding paper sheets, and paper sheet processing device.SOLUTION: The paper sheet feeder includes: a cassette having a plurality of storage parts each of which stores a plurality of paper sheets, with them vertically piled; a moving mechanism that moves the cassette so as to sequentially dispose a plurality of storage parts at an extraction position; a holding arm that holds the plurality of paper sheets stored in the storage part disposed at the extraction position, in the piled direction; and a transfer mechanism that transfers the holding arm, extracts the plurality of paper sheets from the storage part, and transfers them to a feed part, with the holding arm holding the paper sheets. 【課題】作業員による作業負担を低減でき紙葉類を確実に投入できる紙葉類投入装置及び紙葉類処理装置を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】実施形態に係る紙葉類投入装置は、複数枚の紙葉類を上下に重ねた状態でそれぞれ収容する複数の収容部を有するカセットと、複数の収容部を順に抜き取り位置へ配置するようにカセットを移動する移動機構と、抜き取り位置へ配置された収容部に収容された複数枚の紙葉類をその重ね方向に把持する把持アームと、この把持アームを移動して複数枚の紙葉類を収容部から抜き取ってそのままの姿勢で投入部へ移載する移載機構と、を有する。【選択図】 図５
