Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an arm body from interfering with a drive shaft when the arm body is deformed by a load in a suspension arm disposed in the vicinity of the drive shaft.SOLUTION: Since a soft part 28 is provided between a curved part 26 of an arm body 14 and a wheel side fitting part 16, when an excessive load is applied, the soft part 28 is deformed preferentially, and a lower end part 26r of the curved part 26 is prevented from interfering with a drive shaft 12 due to the deformation of the curved part 26. Therefore, if the strength of the arm body 14 is substantially uniform, bending buckling occurs in the curved part 26 where concentration of stress is likely to be generated geometrically, and there is a possibility that the lower end part 26r of the curved part 26 interferes with the drive shaft 12 and damages it. 【課題】ドライブシャフトの近傍に配設されるサスペンションアームにおいて、負荷によりアーム本体が変形した場合にドライブシャフトと干渉することを防止する。【解決手段】アーム本体14の湾曲部26と車輪側取付部16との間に軟弱部28が設けられているため、過大な負荷が加えられた場合には、その軟弱部28が優先的に変形させられ、湾曲部26が変形して下端部26rがドライブシャフト12と干渉することが防止される。すなわち、アーム本体14の強度が略均一の場合、形状的に応力集中が生じ易い湾曲部26で折れ曲がり座屈が発生し、その下端部26rがドライブシャフト12と干渉して傷つける可能性がある。【選択図】図1
