Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw device which can suppress the lowering of the transmission efficiency of torque, and an electric power steering device.SOLUTION: A reflux passage which short-circuits one end and the other end of a rolling passage, and infinitely circulates balls rolling in the rolling passage is formed at a ball screw nut, and the balls roll in the rolling passage by the rotation of the ball screw nut. The reflux passage has a change part which changes moving directions of the balls, and when assuming maximum internally-contacting balls which internally contact with the inside of the reflux passage in an arbitrary position of the reflux passage, the reflux passage is formed so that diameters of the internally-contacting balls become larger than outside diameters of the balls in the whole area of the reflux passage. A throttle part protruded inwardly of the reflux passage is formed at the change part, and the diameters of the internally-contacting balls in the change part are smaller than the diameters of the internally-contacting balls in an adjacent region which adjoins the change part.
