Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine system capable of achieving both improvement in power generation efficiency at a time of operation at rated power generation output and prompt regulation of a power generation output based on change in power demand.SOLUTION: A steam turbine system includes: a boiler 1; a steam regulating valve 4 provided on a main steam pipe 2 communicating the boiler 1 with a steam turbine; an overload valve 6 provided in an overload steam pipe 5 branched off from the steam pipe 2 to bypass the steam regulating valve 4 and connected to a low pressure side of the steam turbine with respect to the main steam pipe 2; and a slit 31 through which steam discharged from the overload steam pipe 5 passes when the steam flows into steam turbine stages, a width C of the slit 31 in an axial direction of a turbine rotor 15 being set smaller than an inside diameter d of the overload steam pipe 5 (d>C). 【課題】定格発電出力での運転時における発電効率の向上と、電力需要の変動に基づく発電出力の急峻な調整を両立することができる蒸気タービン設備を提供する。【解決手段】ボイラ1と、ボイラ1から蒸気タービンに通じる主蒸気管2に設けられた蒸気加減弁4と、主蒸気管2から蒸気加減弁4をバイパスして、主蒸気管2よりも蒸気タービンの低圧側につながるオーバーロード蒸気管5に設けられたオーバーロード弁6と、オーバーロード蒸気管5から流出した蒸気が蒸気タービン段落部に流入する際に通過するスリット部31とを備え、このスリット部31のタービンロータ15の軸方向における幅Cが、オーバーロード蒸気管5の内径dよりも小さく(d>C)なるよう構成された。【選択図】 図2
