CONSOLE BOX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box which secures a wide open surface of a storage part and is excellent in appearance when the open surface is closed by a door.SOLUTION: A console box includes: a box body 40 having a storage part 42, a door storage part 44, and rails 50; and a door 10 covering an open surface 42a of the storage part. The door is split into two pieces in a fore and aft direction, and a second door 30 is connected with a first door 20 so that a connection end part 30a of the second door may rotate relative to the first door in a vertical direction. Each rail 50 is formed by a linear rail 52 and a curved rail 54. The first door is slidably supported by the linear rail and a support end part 30b of the second door is slidably supported by the curved rail. When the open surface of the storage part is opened, the connection end part of the second door is linearly slid with the first door. Further, the support end part is slid along the curved rail and concurrently rotates downward with the connection end part set as a supporting point. The second door is stored in the door storage part through the above-described action. 【課題】収納部の開放面を広く確保でき、かつ、ドアで開放面が閉鎖された状態において外観に優れたコンソールボックスを提供する。【解決手段】収納部４２とドア格納部４４とレール５０とを持つボックス本体４０と、収納部の開放面４２ａを被うドア１０とを備えている。ドアは前後方向に２分割され、第１のドア２０に対して第２のドア３０の連結端部３０ａが上下方向へ回転可能に連結されている。レール５０は、直線レール５２と湾曲レール５４とによって構成され、直線レールに第１のドアがスライド可能に支持され、湾曲レールに第２のドアの支持端部３０ｂがスライド可能に支持されている。収納部の開放面が開放される際、第２のドアは、その連結端部が第１のドアとともに直線的にスライドし、支持端部が湾曲レールに沿ってスライドしながら連結端部を支点に下方へ回転して、ドア格納部に格納される。【選択図】図６
