Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated metal sheet which is easily producible in large amounts, has a low occurrence rate of metal exposure in the can inside surface even when cans are produced by a severe formation method, e.g. drawing/ironing formation and is suppressed effectively in corrosion in the winding tightening part.SOLUTION: In a resin-coated metal sheet formed with a polyester resin coating on at least one side of a metal sheet, the polyester resin is an ethylene terephthalate-based polyester resin, and a biaxial orientation degree, or a value determined by dividing a maximum peak intensity, among peaks in the range of X-ray diffraction angles 2 in the (100) plane of the polyester resin coating of 23-29°, by the thickness of the polyester resin coating, is 3.0-8.0 cps/μm. 【課題】容易に且つ大量に製造可能な樹脂被覆金属板であって、絞りしごき成形のような厳しい成形方法により製缶したときでも、缶内面において金属露出発生率が低く、更に、巻締部での腐食が有効に抑制される樹脂被覆金属板を提供する。【解決手段】金属板の少なくとも一方の表面にポリエステル樹脂被覆が形成されて成る樹脂被覆金属板において、前記ポリエステル樹脂がエチレンテレフタレート系ポリエステル樹脂であり、ポリエステル樹脂被覆の(100)面のX線回折角2 が23〜29?の範囲のピークのうち最も高いピーク強度をポリエステル樹脂被覆の厚さで割った値で表わされる二軸配向度が3.0〜8.0cps/μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
