Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine system capable of achieving Tier III guide line for reducing a concentration of nitrogen oxide.SOLUTION: A combustion engine system comprises: an internal combustion engine having engine data and being powered with a fuel having at least 0.05% of sulfur content and generating an exhaust gas; a heat exchanger; and an emission control device. The emission control device includes : a nitrogen oxide reduction unit including a catalytic reactor receiving the exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine, a reducing agent supply unit, and a nitrogen oxide sensor for measuring a concentration of nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas. The reducing agent supply unit includes a dosing unit for dosing a reducing agent to the exhaust gas in or before entering of the exhaust gas into the nitrogen oxide reduction unit, and an amount of the reducing agent is derived from the engine data. The emission control device further includes a control unit for reducing the amount of reducing agent when the concentration of nitrogen oxide is lower than a preset value. A nitrogen oxide reduction method is further provided to reduce ammonium hydrogen sulfate (ABS) formation in the heat exchanger in the combustion engine system. 【課題】窒素酸化物濃度を低減させるTier IIIガイドラインを実現できる内燃機関システムを提供すること。【解決手段】当該燃焼機関システムは、機関データと、硫黄含有量が少なくとも0.05%の燃料で駆動され排気ガスを発生する内燃機関と熱交換機とガス浄化装置とを備える。ガス浄化装置は、内燃機関から排気ガスを受け取る触媒反応体を備える窒素酸化物還元ユニットと、還元剤供給ユニットと、排気ガス中の窒素酸化物濃度を測定する窒素酸化物センサとを備える。還元剤供給ユニットは排気ガスが窒素酸化物還元ユニットに流入する際/前に排気ガスに還元剤を添加する添加ユニットを備え、還元剤の量は機関データから導かれる。ガス浄化装置は、窒素酸化物濃度が既定値よりも低い場合に還元剤の量を低減させる制御ユニットを備える。本発明は燃焼機関システム内の熱交換機における硫酸水素アンモニウム(ABS)の形成を低減させる窒素酸化物還元方法にさらに関する。【選択図】図2
