Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method whereby it is possible to produce symmetric 4,6-bis[4-fluoro-3-(trifluoromethyl) phenoxy] pyrimidine in an industrially advantageous manner and with high purity and high yields.SOLUTION: In a reaction of 4,6-dichloro pyrimidine with 4-fluoro-3-(trifluoromethyl) phenol, as a catalyst, 1,4-diazabicyclo [2.2.2] octane compounds, quinuclidine compounds or N-methyl pyrrolidine compounds, or salts thereof are used. 【課題】工業的に非常に有利に生産でき、かつ高純度、高収率で、対象性4,6−ビス[4−フルオロ−3−(トリフルオロメチル)フェノキシ]ピリミジンを製造できる方法を提供する。【解決手段】4,6−ジクロロピリミジンと、4−フルオロ−3−(トリフルオロメチル)フェノールとを反応させる際に、触媒として、1,4−ジアザビシクロ[2.2.2]オクタン化合物、キヌクリジン化合物又はN-メチルピロリジン化合物、又はその塩が使用される。【選択図】なし
