Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-cleaning litter box which provides various advantages over the prior art.SOLUTION: The self-cleaning litter box is configured to use a cartridge 20 which may include a litter compartment and a waste compartment. The cartridge 20 may be non-compartmentalized. The cartridge 20 may be disposable, thus eliminating the need for the user to clean a litter tray and handle heavy litter containers. The system includes a rake assembly configured with a drive assembly that is protected from contamination. The self-cleaning litter box is also configured to be used with all types of litter including crystal type litter. 【課題】先行技術に対してさまざまな利点を提供する自己清掃式動物用トイレを提供する。【解決手段】自己清掃式動物用トイレは、リター区画および排泄物区画を有することのできるカートリッジ２０を使用するように構成されている。カートリッジ２０を区画分けしないこともできる。カートリッジ２０は使い捨て式であってもよく、従って利用者がリタートレイを清掃する必要や、重いリター容器を取り扱う必要がなくなる。本システムは、汚染から保護された駆動アセンブリを有して成る熊手アセンブリを含む。また、クリスタルタイプのリターを含むあらゆる種類のリターを使用できるように構成されている。【選択図】図２
