| Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses the trouble in which ozone and a nitrogen compound are adhered to the surface of an image carrier after the completion of an image forming operation without an increase in cost and size of the apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus can execute "a toner adhesion mode" of cancelling a cleaning operation by a cleaning blade 25a (cleaning member) and causing a toner TB to be adhered to an image area M at least over the entire area in the circumferential direction (entire area in the running direction) in a photoreceptor drum 21 (image carrier).
【課題】装置が高コスト化・大型化することなく、画像形成動作終了後に像担持体の表面にオゾンや窒素化合物等が付着してしまう不具合が生じにくい、画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】クリーニングブレード２５ａ（クリーニング部材）によるクリーニング動作を解除して感光体ドラム２１（像担持体）における少なくとも画像領域Ｍの周方向全域（走行方向全域）にわたってトナーＴＢを付着させる「トナー付着モード」を実行可能に構成している。【選択図】図３ |
