PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium loading mechanism and an image formation device, enabling a recording medium to be contacted by both end part sides of one end part side and the other end part side of a transportation member which is not being supported in a case where the transportation member whose one end part is supported and a recording medium are pressed against each other.SOLUTION: When a pinion 112 rotates under a pressing condition which a sheet member P at a top order is pressed against a paper feed roll 64, a rack 118 is loaded with a lower load, and the rack 118 moves downward relative to a holding member 124. Thus, one end of a shaft 102 and the other end of the shaft 102 move relative to each other, and a tip end part 92B of a bottom plate 92 is inclined so as to follow the inclined paper feed roll 64.
