Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entry system for a vehicle, the manufacturing cost of which can be reduced.SOLUTION: The entry system for a vehicle is provided in which a user conducts collation using a portable terminal 28 having an authentication element 74 and the predetermined function of a vehicle 10 can be used based on its collation result. The entry system for a vehicle comprises: an authentication control part for generating a signal making the predetermined function of the vehicle 10 usable when authentication information from the authentication element 74 coincides with predetermined authentication information; a door detection part for outputting the signal in accordance with opening-closing of a door of the vehicle 10; and a cradle capable of fixing the portable terminal 28. The authentication control part starts a reading part 72 arranged in the cradle based on the signal output from the door detection part, the reading part 72 can transmit an electromagnetic wave, and the authentication element 74 can transmit the authentication information by generating a power source using the electromagnetic wave. 【課題】製造コストを低減可能な車両用エントリシステムが提供される。【解決手段】認証素子74を有する携帯端末28を用いて照合を行い、その照合結果に基づき車両10の所定の機能を使用可能にする車両用エントリシステムは、認証素子74からの認証情報が所定の認証情報と一致する時に、車両10の所定の機能を使用可能にする信号を生成する認証制御部と、車両10のドアの開閉に応じて信号を出力するドア検出部と、携帯端末28を固定可能なクレードルと、を備える。認証制御部は、ドア検出部から出力される信号に基づきクレードルに配置される読み取り部72を起動し、読み取り部72は、電磁波を送信可能であり、認証素子74は、電磁波によって電源を生成し、認証情報を送信可能である。【選択図】図1
