Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for selectively occluding or masking light from a light source, which utilize a single light source such as a multichip LED and have a plurality of different light beam mode functions.SOLUTION: A headlamp 10 comprises: a reflector 12 having a reflective inner surface 12a, which defines a cavity with an open end 12b facing a field to be illuminated, and having a focus, the reflector receiving at least one LED light source which comprises at least one LED positioned at or near the focus and generates light rays; a lens 26 intermediate between the at least one LED light source and the field to be illuminated, receiving at least some of the light rays and applying a light beam toward the field to be illuminated; and a shutter assembly having a plurality of shutter or mask members 32, 34 which cooperate in occluding or masking at least a portion of the light rays to produce a plurality of different light beam modes, respectively, toward the field to be illuminated. 【課題】マルチチップLEDのような単一の光源を用いて複数の異なる光線モード機能を有する、光源からの光を選択的に遮断もしくは遮蔽するためのシステム及び方法を提供する。【解決手段】ヘッドランプ10は、被照射地面に面する開放端12bを有する空洞を形成する反射内面12aおよび焦点を有し、焦点に、または焦点の近くに位置決めされ、光線を生成する少なくとも一つのLEDを有するLED光源を受け取るリフレクタ12と、少なくとも一つのLED光源と被照射地面とのに間に介在し、光線の少なくとも一部を受け、光線を被照射地面に照射するレンズ26と、複数のシャッター/マスク部材32、34が協同して光線の少なくとも一部を遮断または遮蔽し、それぞれの被照射地面に向かう複数の異なる光線モードを生成するシャッター組立体と、を有する。【選択図】図2
