PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder conveyance mechanism which reliably conveys powder in a powder container extended horizontally in a desired direction without unnecessary dead space, a developer container, a process cartridge, an image forming apparatus, and a powder conveyance method.SOLUTION: A toner conveyance member 10b includes an elastically deformable platy dielectric member 10b4, and a pair of elastically deformable electrode members 10b5, 10b6 arranged on both sides of the dielectric member 10b4. The toner conveyance member 10b has at least one fixed end in a toner conveyance direction J1, and is vibrated by the dielectric member 10b4 which is arranged between the electrode members 10b5, 10b6 and repeats compression and restoration when an AC voltage Vac is applied to the electrode members 10b5, 10b6, thereby conveying toner. 【課題】 本発明は、簡単な構成で、水平方向に延びた粉体収容容器内の粉体を余分なデッドスペースを必要とせずに所望の方向に確実に搬送することができる粉体搬送機構、現像剤容器、プロセスカートリッジ、画像形成装置及び粉体搬送方法を提供する。【解決手段】 トナー搬送部材10ｂは弾性変形可能な板状の誘電部材10ｂ4と、誘電部材10ｂ4の両面に設けられる一対の弾性変形可能な電極部材10ｂ5，10ｂ6と、を有し、トナー搬送部材10ｂはトナー搬送方向Ｊ１の少なくとも一端が固定され、電極部材10ｂ5，10ｂ6に交流電圧Ｖａｃを印加することで電極部材10ｂ5，10ｂ6間に設けられた誘電部材10ｂ4が圧縮と復元とを繰り返すことにより振動し、その振動によりトナーを搬送することを特徴とする。【選択図】 図２
