PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of improving a printing quality, a blade unit, and a method of manufacturing the developing device.SOLUTION: The developing device includes a developing roller, a blade 41 proximal to the developing roller, and a support member 42 supporting the blade 41. The support member 42 has a positioning projection 421 to be engaged with the blade 41, and the blade 41 has an opening 412 to be engaged with the positioning projection 421.
