Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of achieving the redundant configuration of a process computer in which even when a backup operation is being performed, further backup is possible by another system so that it is possible to minimize the increase of installation sites and repair costs, and that it is not necessary to alter an existing process computer.SOLUTION: A computer which executes a program for allowing a redundancy device 20A as the redundancy device of a process computer 1 including: means 31 for monitoring the operating state of the server/client of the process computer 1 on the basis of an IP address obtained from a trunk transmission LAN connecting the server/client of the process computer 1; means 34 for performing the backup of the device unit of the server/client by a system different from the above mentioned system; and means 33 for performing the ON/OFF control of backup performed by the means 34 by the device unit of the server/client in accordance with the monitor result of the means 31 is connected to the trunk transmission LAN. 【課題】設置場所及び改修費の増加を最小限度に止め、かつ、既設のプロセス計算機を改造することなく、バックアップ運転を行っている状態にあっても、さらに他の系統がバックアップするプロセス計算機を冗長化可能な装置等を提供する。【解決手段】冗長化装置20Aは、プロセス計算機1のサーバー/クライアントを接続する基幹伝送LANから取得されるIPアドレスに基づきプロセス計算機1のサーバー/クライアントの稼動状態を監視する手段31と、前記系統とは異なる系統で前記サーバー/クライアントの装置単位のバックアップを行う手段34と、手段31の監視結果に応じて、手段34が行うバックアップを前記サーバー/クライアントの装置単位で入切制御する手段33とを備えるプロセス計算機1の冗長化装置として機能させるプログラムを実行したコンピュータを基幹伝送LANに接続して構成される。【選択図】図3
