The control unit 9 includes dirt determination means 11 for determining a dirt degree together with the dirt detection means 10 and the presence in room determination means, and when it determines that a person is absent in the room, it changes sensitivity setting, and performs an air cleaning operation for collecting air dust particulates. Thus, accumulation of the dust on a floor surface can be reduced. 【課題】室内から人がいなくなると運転を停止するため人の活動による気流や空気清浄機運転による気流により室内空間に浮遊していた粉塵粒子は気流がなくなったことで徐々に降下・沈降し床面にホコリが堆積してしまう課題があった。【解決手段】本体1に汚れを検知する汚れ検知手段10と、室内の人の有無を判定する在室判定手段(人検知センサ8)と、制御部9を設け、この制御部9は、汚れ検知手段10と前記在室判定手段をもとに、汚れ度を判定する汚れ決定手段11を設け、人が不在と判断した場合に、感度設定を変更することで、粉塵粒子を集塵する空気清浄運転を行うことで、床面へのホコリ堆積を低減することを目的とする。【選択図】図4
