PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, as an operation is stopped when a person leaves a room, dust particulates floating in an indoor space by an airflow by human activity or an airflow by an air cleaning operation are gradually lowered, and settle, when there is no airflow, and dust accumulates on a floor surface.SOLUTION: A body 1 includes: dirt detection means 10 for detecting dirt; presence in room determination means (human detection sensor 8) for determining presence/absence of a person in a room; and a control unit 9. The control unit 9 includes dirt determination means 11 for determining a dirt degree together with the dirt detection means 10 and the presence in room determination means, and when it determines that a person is absent in the room, it changes sensitivity setting, and performs an air cleaning operation for collecting air dust particulates. Thus, accumulation of the dust on a floor surface can be reduced. 【課題】室内から人がいなくなると運転を停止するため人の活動による気流や空気清浄機運転による気流により室内空間に浮遊していた粉塵粒子は気流がなくなったことで徐々に降下・沈降し床面にホコリが堆積してしまう課題があった。【解決手段】本体１に汚れを検知する汚れ検知手段１０と、室内の人の有無を判定する在室判定手段（人検知センサ８）と、制御部９を設け、この制御部９は、汚れ検知手段１０と前記在室判定手段をもとに、汚れ度を判定する汚れ決定手段１１を設け、人が不在と判断した場合に、感度設定を変更することで、粉塵粒子を集塵する空気清浄運転を行うことで、床面へのホコリ堆積を低減することを目的とする。【選択図】図４
