Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for producing (meth)acrylic acid.SOLUTION: This invention discloses a method for producing (meth)acrylic acid, comprising: recovering the (meth)acrylic acid by using a coupled two-tower distillation system; and removing water and acetic acid. A system comprises: a first distillation tower equipped with a base and top; a first distillation tower condenser coupled to and in open communication with the top of the first distillation tower and receiving a top flow from the first distillation tower (the condenser is equipped with means for controlling its operating temperature); a second distillation tower coupled to and receiving a residual flow from the first distillation tower (the second distillation tower is equipped with a top); a second distillation tower condenser coupled to and receiving a top flow from the second distillation tower; and means for transferring a flow from the base of the first distillation tower to the top of the second distillation tower. The production method further comprises monitoring contents in the system of the water, acrylic acid and/or (meth)acrylic acid by using an online near-infrared (IR) spectrometer comprising a probe or a flow cell.
