PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method capable of molding a synthetic resin molded part coated with a metallic ornament having sufficient metallic luster at a low cost and also at a high yield.SOLUTION: An impregnating base material 30 including a metal particle-containing layer 20 formed by applying a coating material containing metal particles thereon is introduced into a die 100 for molding a synthetic resin. Upon molding of a synthetic resin molded part 10, the impregnating base material 30 is heated and pressurized to laminate the impregnating base material 30 on the surface of the synthetic resin molded part 10, and further, the glossiness of the metal particle-containing layer 20 is increased. 【課題】十分な金属光沢を有する金属調の装飾が施された合成樹脂成形品を、低コストかつ歩留まりよく成形することができる成形方法を提供する。【解決手段】合成樹脂を成形するための金型１００内に、金属粒子を含有する塗工材を塗布して金属粒子含有層２０を形成した含浸性基材３０を導入し、合成樹脂成形品１０の成形時に含浸性基材３０を加熱及び加圧して含浸性基材３０を合成樹脂成形品１０の表面に積層すると共に、金属粒子含有層２０の光沢度を上昇させる。【選択図】図１
