Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing seal capable of restricting immersion of drilling mud from a flange surface into a bearing space while its structure being simple and realizing reduction of a running torque.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a bearing seal 8 installed between a hub-flange side inner race 5 and an outer race 2 in a bearing 1 in which the inner race 5 with a hub flange is supported in an axis-rotatable manner in respect to the outer race 2, the bearing seal comprising: a slinger member 9 made of stainless metallic material including a fitting cylindrical part 10 fitted to a cylindrical part 34 formed concentrically and in a stepped manner at a hub-flange 32 in respect to the inner race 5 and a flange part 11 extended out from one end part 10a of the fitted cylindrical part 10 at inner diameter side along a flange surface 32a of the hub-flange 32 and its inner diameter side extremity end side 11a being non-contacted to the inner race 5; a core 12 fitted to the outer race 2; and a seal lip member 20 made of elastic material that is fixed to the core 12 and having at least one annular seal lip 20a resiliently contacted with the flange part 11 of the slinger member 9.
【課題】簡単な構造でありながら、フランジ面からの軸受空間内への泥水の浸入を抑え、回転トルクの低減化を実現することができる軸受密封装置。【解決手段】外輪2に対してハブフランジ32付内輪5が軸回転可能に支持される軸受装置1におけるハブフランジ側内輪5と外輪2との間に装着される軸受密封装置8であって、ハブフランジ32に内輪5と同心且つ段状に形成された円筒部34に嵌合される嵌合円筒部10と、嵌合円筒部10の一端部10aよりハブフランジ32のフランジ面32aに沿って内径側に延出されると共に、その内径側先側部11aが内輪5に非接触の状態とされた鍔部11とを備える不錆性金属材からなるスリンガ部材9と、外輪2に嵌合される芯金12と、芯金12に固着され、スリンガ部材9の鍔部11に弾接する少なくとも1個の環状シールリップ20aを備える弾性体製のシールリップ部材20とからなる。【選択図】図2 |
