INK FOR INKJET RECORDING, INKJET RECORDING METHOD, HEAD FOR INKJET RECORDING AND INKJET RECORDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink capable of improving generation uniformity which has a problem in especially thermal type inkjet recording, especially a big problem when a line type head in which a recovery operation cannot be conducted without stopping printing, even for an ink containing either a pigment or a dye as a color material.SOLUTION: There is provided an ink for inkjet recording containing a color material, water and three kinds of water-soluble compounds, the content of water is 70 mass% or more, the three kinds of water-soluble compounds are ones having a molecular weight of 80 or more, a steam pressure at 20°C of 5 Pa or less or a solid, and at least one of them is solid. When mixing the three kinds of water-soluble compounds, at a ratio containing them in the ink, a water activity value of a 40% solution of the mixture is 0.88 to 0.91 inclusive and its viscosity is 3.3 mP s or less, and the total amount of the three kinds of water-soluble compounds in the ink is 20 mass% to 25 mass% inclusive. 【課題】特にサーマル方式のインクジェット記録で課題となっており、印刷を停止しなければ回復操作ができないライン方式のヘッドを用いた場合に特に課題が大きい発一性を、色材を顔料及び染料のいずれとしたインクの場合も向上させることができるインクの提供。【解決手段】色材と、水と、３種類の水溶性化合物を含むインクであって、水の含有量が７０質量％以上で、３種類の水溶性化合物は、分子量が８０以上で、２０℃における蒸気圧が５Ｐａ以下のものであるか又は固体のものであり、かつ、１種以上が固体であり、３種類の水溶性化合物は、インクに含有させる比率で３種類の水溶性化合物を混合させて混合物とした場合に、該混合物の４０％水溶液における水分活性値が０．８８以上、０．９１以下で、その粘度が３．３ｍＰａ・ｓ以下であり、３種類の水溶性化合物のインク中の総量が、２０質量％以上２５質量％以下であるインクジェット記録用インク。【選択図】なし
