PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretching device for stretching a cable efficiently, by automatically controlling the feeding amount of a cable to be stretched.SOLUTION: A cable stretching device includes: a control section attached to a remotely operated vehicle; a cable bobbin around which a laying cable is wound, and feeding the laying cable; and a movement information acquisition section for acquiring the moving speed of the remotely operated vehicle for the water bottom in the three-dimensional directions, and the altitude from the water bottom. The control section controls the feeding speed of the laying cable based on the moving speed of the remotely operated vehicle calculated from the moving speed in the three-dimensional directions acquired from the movement information acquisition section and the altitude from the water bottom, and a preset target slack amount. 【課題】展張するケーブルの繰り出し量を自動で制御し、効率的にケーブルを展張する展張装置を提供する。【解決手段】ケーブル展張装置は、水中移動機に装着され、制御部と、敷設ケーブルが巻かれ、前記敷設ケーブルを繰り出すケーブルボビンと、前記水中移動機の水底面に対する各三次元方向の移動速度と水底面からの高度を取得する移動情報取得部とを備えている。前記制御部は、前記移動情報取得部から取得した各三次元方向の移動速度と水底面からの高度とから算出した前記水中移動機の移動速度と予め設定された目標スラック量とに基づいて前記敷設ケーブルを繰り出す繰り出し速度を制御する。【選択図】図４
