PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand shower head capable of switching a water discharge mode with a small operation force.SOLUTION: The hand shower head which can switch a plurality of water discharge modes includes: a shower head body having a grip part and a water spray part provided on a tip side of the grip part; a single operation part 6 provided at the grip part and switching a water discharge mode; a cam member 34 moved by an operation of the operation part; a plurality of valve operation shafts 40a, 40b, 40c moved in predetermined directions respectively by being brought into contact with the cam member; and a plurality of valve bodies 26a, 26b, 26c movable between an open valve position and a closed valve position respectively according to the movement of these valve operation shafts. The cam member 34 is configured so as to become a state in which at least one of the first valve body 26a and the second valve body 26b is always open, in the middle of the movement from a first water discharge mode position to a second water discharge mode position. 【課題】小さな操作力で吐水モードを切り換えることができるハンドシャワーヘッドを提供する。【解決手段】複数の吐水モードを切換可能なハンドシャワーヘッドであって、把持部及びこの把持部の先端側に設けられた散水部を有するシャワーヘッド本体と、把持部に設けられ、吐水モードを切り換える単一の操作部６と、操作部の操作によって移動されるカム部材３４と、このカム部材に当接することにより、所定の方向に夫々移動される複数の弁作動軸４０ａ、４０ｂ、４０ｃと、これらの弁作動軸の移動に伴って開弁位置と閉弁位置の間で夫々移動可能な複数の弁体２６ａ、２６ｂ、２６ｃと、を有し、カム部材３４は、第１の吐水モード位置から第２の吐水モード位置に移動される途中において、第１の弁体２６ａ及び第２の弁体２６ｂの少なくとも一方が常に開弁された状態となるように構成されている。【選択図】図４
