Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical unit, even when having a configuration that an optical axis is decentered from the outer diameter center of a cylindrical member, capable of retaining high durability under high-temperature environment, an endoscope and a production method of optical unit.SOLUTION: An optical unit 200 includes a cylindrical member 51 having different wall thicknesses in the circumferential direction, and a translucent member 53 provided at one end side in the axial direction of the cylindrical member. The optical unit further includes a joining member 85 that joins the translucent member 53 and the cylindrical member 51 and seals one end side in the axial direction of the cylindrical member. The thickness of the joining member 85 at a part where a lateral side 81 of the translucent member and an inner peripheral face 83 of the cylindrical member are joined, is so configured that the thickness at a large wall-thickness part (thickness t) of the cylindrical member is thicker than a small wall-thickness part (thickness t) thereof. 【課題】光軸を筒状部材の外径中心から偏心させた構成であっても、高温環境に対する高い耐久性を保持できる光学ユニット、内視鏡、及び光学ユニットの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】光学ユニット200は、周方向に肉厚が異なる筒状部材51と、筒状部材の軸方向一端側に設けられる透光性部材53とを有し、さらに透光性部材53と筒状部材51とを接合し、筒状部材の軸方向一端側を封止する接合部材85を備える。透光性部材の側面81と筒状部材の内周面83とを接合している部位における接合部材85の厚さは、筒状部材の肉厚が大きい部位(厚さt1)における厚さが、肉厚が小さい部位(厚さt2)における厚さよりも厚い。【選択図】図4
