CONTROL MONITORING SYSTEM FOR HOME EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on an exchange work of home equipment in a home equipment operating system.SOLUTION: In a home equipment control monitoring system containing a communication adaptor connected to home equipment and a controller for communicating with the communication adaptor, the controller has a storage unit for storing an association table containing information representing the connection relationship between the communication adaptor and the home equipment, a communication unit for performing communication with the communication adaptor, and a control unit for controlling the operation of the controller. Upon reception of a start notification transmitted from the communication adaptor when the communication adaptor is started, the control unit requests, to the communication adaptor, identification information of home equipment connected to the communication adaptor, receives the identification information from the communication adaptor in response to the request, and updates the association table based on the received identification information when the information representing the connection relationship between the home equipment associated with the received identification information and the communication adaptor connected to the home equipment is not registered in the association table. 【課題】宅内機器操作システムにおいて、宅内機器交換の作業負荷を軽減する。【解決手段】宅内機器と接続された通信アダプタと、通信アダプタと通信を行うコントローラとを含む宅内機器制御監視システムであって、コントローラは、通信アダプタと宅内機器との接続関係を示す情報を含む対応テーブルを格納する記憶部と、通信アダプタと通信を行う通信部と、コントローラの動作を制御する制御部とを備え、制御部は、通信アダプタから、通信アダプタが起動したときに送信される起動通知を受信すると、通信アダプタに対して、通信アダプタに接続する宅内機器の識別情報を要求し、当該要求に応答して通信アダプタから識別情報を受信し、受信した識別情報に係る宅内機器と当該宅内機器に接続された通信アダプタとの接続関係を示す情報が、対応テーブルに登録されていない場合に、受信した識別情報に基づき前記対応テーブルを更新する。【選択図】図５
