TRIMAP GENERATION DEVICE, TRIMAP GENERATION METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Trimap generation device for generating a Trimap for appropriately executing chroma-key processing in a fully automatic manner.SOLUTION: A Trimap generation part 13 of a chroma-key synthesizer 100 accepts the input of an original image 30 obtained by photographing a subject (S101), and accepts the input of the positions of the parietal region and the jaw (S102). The Trimap generation part 13 classifies the pixels of the original image 30 into a foreground region, a background region, and an unknown region to generate a Trimap (S103). The Trimap generation part 13 executes foreground region update processing (S104), and when the colors of the pixels of the unknown region exist in a color histogram generated on the basis of the pixels of the foreground region, executes color histogram determination processing of updating the pixels of the unknown region to the foreground region (S105).
