Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control image quality in the same page, without changing toner consumption.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes two or more kinds of toner different in particle size, and is configured to select toner type to be arranged in the uppermost layer on a recording medium. A small-particle-size toner is arranged in the uppermost layer when a high-gloss image is formed, and a large-particle-size toner is arranged in the uppermost layer when a low-gloss image is formed, for each designated image area, and thereby the gloss in the same page is controlled. 【課題】トナー消費量を変えることなく、同一紙面内の画質を制御する。【解決手段】粒径の異なるトナーを2種類以上有し、記録媒体上で最表層に配置するトナー種を選択可能にし、高光沢にしたい場合は最表層に小粒径トナーを、低光沢にしたい場合は最表層に大粒径トナーを、指定した画像領域ごとに配置する事で光沢度を同一紙面内で制御する。【選択図】図1
