FUEL TANK SUPPORT STRUCTURE OF MOTOR CYCLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank support structure of a motor cycle which secures necessary and sufficient capacity and securely supports a small fuel tank.SOLUTION: A fuel tank support structure 35 of a motor cycle 1 includes: a vehicle frame 2 having a main tube 12 which extends from a rear part of a head pipe 11 to the rear side at a center part of a vehicle when viewed in a width direction; a fuel tank 3 disposed above the main tube 12; a front side fixing part 36 which elastically supports a front end part of the fuel tank 3 on the main tube 12; a rear side fixing part 37 which elastically supports a rear end part of the fuel tank 3 on the vehicle body frame 2; and a tank brace 38 which branches from the main tube 12 to left and right lateral sides of the vehicle and extends and supports left and right side parts of the fuel tank 3. 【課題】必要十分な容量を確保しつつも、小型な燃料タンクを確実に支持する自動二輪車の燃料タンク支持構造を提供する。【解決手段】自動二輪車１の燃料タンク支持構造３５は、ヘッドパイプ１１の後部から車両の幅方向中央部を後方に延びるメインチューブ１２を有する車体フレーム２と、メインチューブ１２の上方に配置される燃料タンク３と、メインチューブ１２に燃料タンク３の前端部を弾性的に支持する前側固定部３６と、車体フレーム２に燃料タンク３の後端部を弾性的に支持する後側固定部３７と、メインチューブ１２から車両の左右それぞれの側方に分岐して広がり燃料タンク３の左右それぞれの側部を支持するタンクブレース３８と、を備えている。【選択図】 図３
