PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel capable of reducing the number of wirings drawn out from a drive signal line and a detection signal line and decreasing the area of a frame area.SOLUTION: A self-modulating type touch panel 1 includes: a plurality of drive signal lines 11 to 13 formed on a transparent base material 10 with a predetermined interval; a plurality of detection signal lines 21 to 23 formed on the transparent base material 10 so as to intersect with the drive signal lines 11 to 13; and modulation circuits 30 disposed and connected at each position where the drive signal lines 11 to 13 and the detection signal lines 21 to 23 intersect.
