Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller and a vehicle control method capable of simply and accurately evaluating insulation resistance in a vehicle electrical system.SOLUTION: A vehicle controller includes: an AC current detector 123; and a pre-earth occurrence notification unit. The AC current detector 123 is electrically connected between an intermediate potential line 102, which connects a converter 10 to which AC power is input from outside and which converts the AC power to DC power and an inverter 11 to which the DC power is input and which supplies the AC power to a load, and an earth point B, and detects an AC current. The pre-earth occurrence notification unit compares the AC current detected by the AC current detector 123 with a predetermined AC current threshold set lower than an earth current detection threshold that is a current threshold for detecting occurrence of earth. 【課題】車両の電気系統における絶縁耐性を簡素かつ精度よく評価できる車両用制御装置及び車両用制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】交流電流検出器123と、地絡発生前通知部と、を備える。交流電流検出器は、外部から交流電力を入力して直流電力に変換するコンバータ10と、直流電力を入力して負荷へ交流電力を供給するインバータ11と、を接続する中間電位線102と接地点Bとの間に電気接続され、交流電流を検出する。地絡発生前通知部は、交流電流検出器が検出する交流電流と、地絡の発生を検出する電流閾値である地絡電流検出閾値よりも低い値に設定された所定の交流電流閾値との比較を行う。【選択図】図1
