Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging control device that can continue charging of a battery of an electric vehicle for a long time and prevent the consumption of a battery if charging to the battery cannot be continued, and a charging system comprising the charging control device.SOLUTION: A charging control device comprises: a current detection unit for detecting system current Is; a charging unit for supplying charging current Ic to a battery; a storage unit for storing the minimum current Imin and maximum current Imax of the charging current, and use upper limit current Iu of the system current respectively; and a charging control unit that controls the charging current on the basis of the system current detected by the current detection unit and the minimum current, maximum current and use upper limit current stored in the storage unit, and communicates with the electric vehicle. The charging control unit controls the charging current such that the charging current is in a range between the minimum current and maximum current, continues charging of the battery by the controlled charging current, and on the other hand temporarily stops charging of the battery if the system current is at or above the use upper limit current and the charging current is the minimum current. 【課題】電動車両のバッテリーの充電を長く継続させ、かつ、充電が継続できない場合のバッテリーの消耗を防止可能な充電制御装置、およびそれを備えた充電システムを提供する。【解決手段】系統電流Isを検出する電流検出部と、充電電流Icをバッテリーに供給する充電ユニット部と、充電電流の最小電流Imin、最大電流Imax、系統電流の使用上限電流Iuをそれぞれ記憶する記憶部と、電流検出部で検出された系統電流と記憶部で記憶された最小電流、最大電流、および使用上限電流とに基づいて充電電流を制御するとともに、電動車両との間で通信を行う充電制御部と、を備え、充電制御部は、充電電流が最小電流と最大電流との間の範囲となるように該充電電流を制御して、制御された充電電流でバッテリーの充電を継続する一方、系統電流が使用上限電流以上であって、かつ、充電電流が最小電流である場合に、バッテリーの充電を一時停止する。【選択図】図2
