PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound having anticancer activity and a slow muscle formation promoting action more excellent than those of resveratrol, and to provide an efficient and safe production method of the new compound, an anticancer agent, a slow muscle formation promoting agent, an endurance-improving agent, and further a food product, a medicinal drug, and a quasi drug containing the new compound.SOLUTION: A new compound having a shape of trimerized resveratrol, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a production method of the new compound or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, are disclosed.
