METHOD FOR ADJUSTING COLOR DENSITY IN PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for acceptance and authentication of a printing reference to be sufficient with a less labor than that in a known prior art.SOLUTION: A method for adjusting color density in a printer executes the steps of: printing a test version on printed matter 20 and setting conscious color density deviation from intended target color density in an ink zone provided in an ink device 16 of a printer 12; performing output control of color density previously adjusted and color density deviation set and adjusted with color measuring instruments 21, 24 in accordance with a target value in a state where the printed matter is wet; performing color measurement on the dried printed matter with the color measuring instruments; comparing a color measuring value detected in the dried state and a print original image of the test version with a computer 160; and utilizing the color density having the minimum deviation to the intended target color density and belonging to the ink zone as the target color density for a printing process. 【課題】公知先行技術におけるよりも少ない手間をかけるだけで十分となる印刷基準の合格認証のための方法を提供する。【解決手段】テスト版を被印刷物２０に印刷するステップであって、印刷装置１２のインキ装置１６に設けられたインキゾーンで、意図された目標色濃度からの意識的な色濃度偏差を設定するステップと、あらかじめ調節された色濃度と、設定され調節された色濃度偏差とを、色測定器２１，２４によって、被印刷物の湿った状態での目標値に合わせて出力制御するステップと、色測定器によって、乾燥された被印刷物を色測定するステップと、乾いた状態で検出された色測定値と、テスト版の印刷原画とをコンピュータ１６０で比較するステップと、意図された目標色濃度に対して最も小さな偏差を有する、インキゾーンに所属する色濃度を、印刷プロセスのための目標色濃度として引き取るステップとを実施する。【選択図】図１
