The light emission means includes a left light emission section for emitting light to the left side of a subject, and a right light emission section for emitting the light to the right side of the subject. The photographing means controls the camera and takes a photograph of the subject, and generates a photographic image. The light emission control means controls the light emission means so that light is emitted in one of light emission modes of a first light emission mode and a second light emission mode when taking a photograph by the photographing means. The first light emission mode is the light emission mode in which a first light quantity emitted by the left light emission section is larger than a second light quantity emitted by the right light emission section, and the second light emission mode is the light emission mode in which the second light quantity is larger than the first light quantity.
