Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide opening structure in a building outer wall allowing for reduction in thermal load, and a method of using the same.SOLUTION: Opening structure 10 in a building outer wall of the present invention includes: a window 11 including a first window 12 covering a lower part of an opening 102 in a building outer wall 101 and a second window 13 which covers upper part of the opening part 102 and is openable/closable; and a window covering member 15 which is arranged inside the window 11 and includes an upper edge 15A and a lower edge 15B, the upper edge 15A being arranged in a vertically displaceable manner. 【課題】熱負荷を低減できる建物外壁の開口部構造及びその使用方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の建物外壁の開口部構造１０は、建物外壁１０１の開口部１０２の下部を遮蔽する第１の窓１２と、開口部１０２の上部を遮蔽し、かつ開閉可能な第２の窓１３とを有する窓１１と、この窓１１の内側に配置され、かつ上端縁１５Ａと下端縁１５Ｂとを有し、上端縁１５Ａが上下方向に変位可能なように設けられた窓遮蔽部材１５とを備えている。【選択図】図１
