Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve display quality by eliminating a ghost phenomenon or a shading phenomenon due to chargeability coupling of a display device.SOLUTION: A display device includes a data driving unit which transfers data voltage to a display panel including a plurality of pixels and a plurality of data lines, and a signal control unit which controls a gate driving unit which transfers a gate signal to a plurality of gate lines and includes a signal processing unit. The signal processing unit includes a memory which stores an input video signal of an N-1-th (N is a natural number of 2 or higher) line and an input video signal of an N-th line, and a coupling index calculation unit which calculates a coupling index indicating a chargeability coupling degree between adjacent lines. The signal processing unit generates a compensation video signal with respect to one pixel of the N-th line by compensating the input video signal of the N-th line using an input video signal of an N+1-th line, an input video signal of an N-1-th line received from the memory, the input video signal of the N-th line, and the calculated coupling index. 【課題】表示装置の充電性カップリングによるゴースト現象またはシェーディング現象を無くして、表示品質を高める。【解決手段】表示装置は、複数の画素を含む表示板と複数のデータ線にデータ電圧を伝達するデータ駆動部と複数のゲート線にゲート信号を伝達するゲート駆動部を制御し、信号処理部を含む信号制御部とを含み、前記信号処理部はN−1番目(Nは、2以上の自然数)行の入力映像信号及びN番目行の入力映像信号を保存するメモリと、隣接する行間の充電性カップリング程度を示すカップリング指数を算出するカップリング指数算出部とを含み、前記信号処理部はN+1番目行の入力映像信号、前記メモリから受信したN−1番目行の入力映像信号及び前記N番目行の入力映像信号、そして前記算出されたカップリング指数を利用して、前記N番目行の入力映像信号を補償して前記N番目行の一画素に対する補償映像信号を生成する。【選択図】図3
