Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sensitive yet rapid cancer detection.SOLUTION: A method for screening cancer in a subject comprises the steps of: (a) contacting a chromosome probe set with a biological sample selected from the group consisting of urine, blood, cerebrospinal fluid, pleural fluid, sputum, peritoneal fluid, bladder washings, oral washings, tissue samples, palpation samples and fine-needle aspirates; (b) selecting cells from the biological sample above; (c) determining the presence or absence of aneusomic cells in the selected cells; and (d) correlating the presence of aneusomic cells in the selected cells with cancer in the subject. 【課題】十分な感度を維持しつつ、迅速に癌を検出できる方法の提供。【解決手段】(a)染色体プローブのセットを被験者由来の尿、血液、脳脊髄液、胸膜液、喀痰、腹膜液、膀胱洗浄物、口腔洗浄物、組織サンプル、触診サンプル、または細い吸引針による吸引液から成る群より選択される生物学的サンプルにハイブリダイズさせ、(b)上記生物学的サンプルから細胞を選択し、(c)上記選択した細胞における異数染色体性細胞の有無を判定し、(d)上記選択した細胞における異数染色体性細胞の存在を被験者の癌と相関させる、ことを含んでなる被験者の癌をスクリーニングする方法。【選択図】なし
