Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor cycle in which contact between a shock absorber and an obstacle on a road surface is prevented while the shock absorber is placed below a driving source such as an engine.SOLUTION: In a motor cycle, a vehicle body frame (1) includes a lower frame (6) extending below a driving source such as an engine and a shock absorber (51) of a rear suspension device (50) is placed below the drive source. The shock absorber (51) is arranged along a substantially fore-and-aft direction, and a lower end of the shock absorber (51) is disposed so as to be positioned above a lower surface of the lower frame (6). Preferably, the motor cycle includes a pair of left and right lower frames (6) and the shock absorber (51) is disposed between the lower frames (6). 【課題】ショックアブソーバをエンジン等の駆動源の下側に配置しつつ、ショックアブソーバと路面の障害物との接触を防ぐ自動二輪車を提供する。【解決手段】車体フレーム(1)は、エンジン等の駆動源の下側を延びるロアフレーム(6)を有しており、駆動源の下側にリヤサスペンション装(50)のショックアブソーバ(51)を配置している自動二輪車において、ショックアブソーバ(51)は、略前後方向に沿うように配置され、かつ、ショックアブソーバ(51)の下端が、ロアフレーム(6)の下面よりも上方にくるように配置されている。好ましくは、左右一対のロアフレーム(6)を備え、両ロアフレーム(6)間にショックアブソーバ(51)を配置する。【選択図】図2
