Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that can provide sufficient image density even with a small amount of the toner, and can suppress fogging, density unevenness, and contamination of members under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment and low-temperature and low-humidity environment; and a manufacturing method of the toner.SOLUTION: There is provided a toner including toner particles that can be obtained by dispersing, in an aqueous medium, a polymerizable monomer composition containing a polymerizable monomer, colorant, polar resin, and metallic compound of an aromatic oxycarboxylic acid (A) having a specific structure to generate the droplets of the polymerizable monomer composition, and polymerizing the polymerizable monomer in the droplets, where the solubility of a binder resin and the solubility of the polar resin are defined in a toluene-hexane solubility test.
【課題】 少量のトナーであっても十分な画像濃度が得られ、且つ、高温高湿環境下および低温低湿環境下におけるカブリや濃度ムラ、及び、部材の汚染を改善することが可能なトナー及びトナーの製造方法を提供することにある。【解決手段】 重合性単量体、着色剤、極性樹脂及び特定の構造を有する芳香族オキシカルボン酸(A)の金属化合物を含有する重合性単量体組成物を水系媒体中に分散して、重合性単量体組成物の液滴を造粒し、該液滴中の重合性単量体を重合して得られるトナー粒子を有するトナーであって、トルエン−ヘキサン溶解性試験における結着樹脂の溶解性と極性樹脂の溶解性を規定したトナー。【選択図】 なし |
