Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous determination with contact failure of a probe to a rail.SOLUTION: A rail flaw detection device which includes a flaw detection transmission probe for transmitting an ultrasonic wave along a flow detection virtual transmission plane obliquely intersecting with an upper surface of a rail, a flaw detection reception probe for receiving an echo incident along a flaw detection virtual reception plane having substantially the same angle as the inclination angle of the flaw detection virtual transmission plane, a coupling check transmission probe for transmitting the ultrasonic wave along a coupling check virtual transmission and reception plane intersecting with at least one of the flaw detection virtual transmission plane and the flaw detection virtual reception plane, and a coupling check reception probe arranged at the position of receiving an echo reflected on the surface of a head part, executes flaw detection processing subsequent to coupling check, and determines a flaw detection result at an opportunity at which contact failure of the probe is determined from the flaw detection result by comparing the flaw detection processing result and the result of coupling check.
【課題】レールに対する探触子の接触不良に伴う誤判定を防止する。【解決手段】レールの上面に対して斜めに交差する探傷用仮想送信平面に沿って超音波を送信する探傷用送信探触子と、探傷用仮想送信平面の傾斜角と略同一角度を有する探傷用仮想受信平面に沿って入射するエコーを受信する探傷用受信探触子と、探傷用仮想送信平面、及び、探傷用仮想受信平面の少なくとも一方に交差するカップリングチェック用仮想送受信平面に沿って超音波を送信するカップリングチェック用送信探触子と、頭部の表面に反射したエコーを受信する位置に配置されるカップリングチェック用受信探触子と、を設け、カップリングチェックに続けて探傷処理を実行し、探傷処理結果、及び、カップリングチェックの結果の対照によって、探傷結果から、探触子の接触不良と判定された時機の探傷結果を判別する判定する。【選択図】図1 |
