CLEANING DEVICE FOR RAIL JAW LOWER PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for a rail jaw lower part, capable of easily and surely polishing and cleaning a jaw lower part of a rail without forcing a worker into an uncomfortable position.SOLUTION: A cleaning device for a rail jaw lower part includes: a device body rotatably supporting a traveling roller and capable of travelling on a rail; a brush support body provided on the device body and rotatably supporting a cleaning brush; a brush drive source provided on the brush support body and rotary driving the cleaning brush; first biasing means biasing the cleaning brush upwards with respect to the rail; and second biasing means biasing the cleaning brush toward a direction approaching the rail. In a state of being set to the rail, the cleaning device is configured to clean the jaw lower part by using the cleaning brush by pressing the travelling roller against a tip part of the rail, pressing the cleaning brush against the jaw lower part of the rail, and allowing the device body to travel on the rail. 【課題】本願発明は、作業員に無理な姿勢を強いることなく、容易かつ確実にレールの顎下部を研磨・清掃し得るレール顎下部清掃装置の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】本願発明は、走行ローラを回転自在に支承し鉄道レール上を走行移動し得る装置本体と、装置本体に設けられ清掃ブラシを回転自在に支承するブラシ支持体と、ブラシ支持体に設けられ清掃ブラシを回転駆動するブラシ駆動源と、清掃ブラシを鉄道レールに対して上方へ付勢する第１のバネ手段と、清掃ブラシを鉄道レールに接近する方向へ付勢する第２の付勢手段とを備え、鉄道レールにセットした状態において、走行ローラを鉄道レールの頭頂部に圧接させ、清掃ブラシを鉄道レールの顎下部に圧接させ、装置本体を走行移動させることで、清掃ブラシにより顎下部を清掃するよう構成している。【選択図】図４
