PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which laundry in a rotary drum does not become unevenly positioned and which can improve washing performance.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes an opening 30 for putting in/taking out laundry, and a baffle 33 is provided in a rotary drum 3 for accommodating the laundry. On one side surface of the baffle 33, a plurality of first projection parts 34 for moving the laundry to the opening side by rotating the rotary drum in one direction are provided, and on the other side surface, a plurality of second projection parts for moving the laundry to the opposite side from the opening by rotating the rotary drum in the other direction are provided. Thereby, reshuffling of laundry positions occurs when the rotary drum 3 rotates in the one direction or in the other direction, so that the laundry can be prevented from being unevenly positioned and washing performance can be improved. 【課題】 回転ドラム内の洗濯物が偏らず、洗浄性能を向上させることが可能な洗濯機を提供する。【解決手段】 洗濯物を出し入れする開口３０を有し、洗濯物を収容する回転ドラム３内にバッフル３３が設けられている。バッフル３３の一方の側面には、一方向へ回転ドラムを回転させることで洗濯物を開口側へと移動させる複数の第１の凸部３４、他方の側面には他方向へ回転ドラムを回転させることで前記開口と反対側へと移動させる複数の第２の凸部を設ける。これにより、回転ドラム３の一方向、また他方向の回転時に洗濯物の入れ替わりが生じ、洗濯物の偏りを無くし、洗浄能力を向上する。【選択図】 図４
