Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding and cutting apparatus and a holding and cutting method which hold a cutting object member in a high place, a place hardly capable of being approached by a person, and the like, and which can cut any of a column and a beam in the state of holding the cutting object member.SOLUTION: A holding and cutting apparatus 10 includes: holding means 12 to be tiltably attached to a distal end of a swingable, tiltable and extendable drive arm 16, that holds a cutting object member 14; and a cutting device 20 that is coupled to the holding means 12 by coupling means 18 and cuts the cutting object member 14 held by the holding means 12. 【課題】高所や人が近づき難い場所等において、切断対象部材を把持し、把持した状態で柱と梁のいずれも切断できる把持切断装置、及び把持切断方法を提供する。【解決手段】把持切断装置１０は、旋回・傾倒・伸縮可能な駆動アーム１６の先端に傾倒可能に取付けられ、切断対象部材１４を把持する把持手段１２と、把持手段１２と連結手段１８で連結され、把持手段１２で把持された切断対象部材１４を切断する切断装置２０と、を有している。【選択図】図５
