PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting device which enables an electrode for a touch switch to be attached when a rear surface of a cover member is not flat.SOLUTION: A vehicular lighting device includes: an LED 21; a case 23 which houses the LED 21; a cover member 30 which covers a light emission surface 21A of the LED 21 and may transmit outgoing light from the LED 21; and a transparent sheet member 60 which includes at least a transparent electrode layer 74 forming a capacitance touch switch and covers a surface of the cover member 30 that is opposite to the LED 21. The cover member 30 is integrally molded with the sheet member 60 by insert molding that uses the sheet member 60 as an insert member. An irregular part 34 is provided on the LED 21 side surface of the cover member 30. 【課題】カバー部材の裏面が平坦面でない場合において、タッチスイッチ用の電極を取り付けることが可能な車両用照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】ＬＥＤ２１と、ＬＥＤ２１が収容されるケース２３と、ＬＥＤ２１における光出射面２１Ａを覆うとともに、ＬＥＤ２１からの出射光を透過可能なカバー部材３０と、静電容量式のタッチスイッチを構成する透明電極層７４を少なくとも含み、カバー部材３０におけるＬＥＤ２１とは反対側の面を覆う透明なシート部材６０と、を備え、カバー部材３０は、シート部材６０をインサート部材としたインサート成形によって、シート部材６０と一体的に成形されており、カバー部材３０におけるＬＥＤ２１側の面には、凹凸部３４が設けられていることに特徴を有する。【選択図】図１
