PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a candidate suiting user's taste without using his or her history.SOLUTION: A candidate presentation unit 101 presents, to a user, a plurality of candidates out of candidates included in an N-th (N is an integer equal to or larger than 1) search range. A candidate selection unit 102 selects a candidate from the plurality of presented candidates in accordance with user's operation. A search range update unit 105 updates the N-th search range to an (N+1)th search range narrower than the N-th search range on the basis of elements of the selected candidate.
