PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately record a series of seismic waveforms even when the maximum acceleration does not appear immediately at the beginning of seismic waveforms and the acceleration increases with the lapse of time.SOLUTION: A reference value setting unit 18B sets on the basis of an indicator value Vi a reference value Vs for detecting a trigger point Tp for indicating the need to record seismic waveforms, a waveform recording unit 18C detects as the trigger point Tp a point of time at which a new indicator value Vi obtained by an indicator value calculating unit 18A has surpassed the reference value Vs, and seismic waveforms included in an object time region Tw equivalent to a recording time length tb retrospective from a recording start point Ts for a certain retrospective time ta are recorded as new seismic waveform data 17A into a selected record region Pw. 【課題】地震波形の先頭からすぐに最大加速度が現れず、時間の経過とともに加速度が増大する場合でも、一連の地震波形を適切に記録する。【解決手段】基準値設定部１８Ｂが、指標値Ｖｉに基づいて地震波形の記録要を示すトリガポイントＴｐを検出するための基準値Ｖｓを設定し、波形記録部１８Ｃが、指標値計算部１８Ａで得られた新たな指標値Ｖｉが基準値Ｖｓを上回った時点をトリガポイントＴｐとして検出し、当該トリガポイントＴｐから一定の遡及時間ｔａだけ遡った記録開始時点Ｔｓから記録時間ｔｂ分の対象時間領域Ｔｗに含まれる地震波形を、選択記録領域Ｐｗに新たな地震波形データ１７Ａとして記録する。【選択図】 図１
