Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of using an ACM sensor capable of evaluating the influence of the corrosion caused by only a salt damage by dividing the synergistic action between the salt damage and sulfur dioxide.SOLUTION: An ACM sensor includes: a substrate 2 made of a conductive material; an insulator film 3 formed on a surface of the substrate 2; and a conductive film 4 that is formed on a surface of the insulator film 3 and made of a conductive material different from that of the substrate 2. The method of using the ACM sensor includes: a step (S102) of short-circuiting the substrate 2 to the conductive film 4 via a conducting wire prior to the exposure of the ACM sensor 1 to the atmospheric air; a step (S104) of dipping the ACM sensor 1 short-circuited via the conducting wire into salt water of a predetermined concentration, and removing an oxide film formed on the surfaces of the substrate 2 and conductive film 4 of the ACM sensor 1; and a step (S106) of removing the salt water from the surface of the ACM sensor 1.
