PNEUMATIC TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which has improved uniformity and has excellent ride comfort and steering stability.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 2 comprises: a tread 4 whose outer surface forms a tread surface 16; a pair of side walls 6 that respectively extend from ends of the tread 4 substantially inwardly in a radial direction; a pair of beads 8 that respectively extend from the side walls 6 further substantially inwardly in the radial direction; a carcass 12 that is bridged between both beads 8 along the tread 4 and the inside of the side walls 6; and a pair of plates 10 formed of high rigidity materials. The carcass 12 comprises a carcass ply 24. The beads 8 comprise a core 20. Outside in the axial direction of the core 20 are positioned the plates 10. In the tire 2, the high rigidity plates 10 support the core 20 so as to prevent the core from collapsing. This allows the tire 2 to have improved uniformity and excellent ride comfort and steering stability. 【課題】ユニフォミティが向上され、乗心地及び操縦安全性に優れたタイヤの提供。【解決手段】本発明に係るタイヤ２は、その外面がトレッド面１６をなすトレッド４と、それぞれがこのトレッド４の端から半径方向略内向きに延びる一対のサイドウォール６と、それぞれがこのサイドウォール６からさらに半径方向略内向きに延びる一対のビード８と、トレッド４及びサイドウォール６の内側に沿って両ビード８の間に架け渡されたカーカス１２と、高剛性な材料からなる一対のプレート１０とを備えている。このカーカス１２は、カーカスプライ２４を備えている。このビード８は、コア２０を備えている。このコア２０の軸方向外側に、このプレート１０が位置している。このタイヤ２では、高剛性なプレート１０がコア２０を支持するため、コア崩れが防止されうる。これにより、ユニフォミティが向上され、乗心地及び操縦安全性に優れたタイヤ２が提供されうる。【選択図】図１
